Chinese and Urdu and Other Languages

OK. This might sound like a stupid question, but how would a blind Chinese or Urdu or those kinds of languages write and communicate in say braille? I was just interested to know, because most of the languages if I've been told right write using pictures anhd symbols instead of the alphabet like we do. I know a lot of other countries also learn to speak English as well though.

Chinese braille is similar to the way foreigners study Chinese, using romanization of the words and having each braille symbol represent a specific sound. Not sure if that explanation makes sense...
